heart/work operates the heart/work iOS App and the heart/work website ("Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Your privacy is of upmost important to heart/work, which is why we aspire the be as transparent as possible about our policies and practices related to data use. We will keep this information up to date and will inform our users about all significant points also within the heart/work iOS App, to make our users as aware of this as possible.
We require some of your personal information to provide and improve the service. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The heart/work iOS App required access to HealthKit on your iPhone in addition to location information to work properly. The app will use the static information stored in HealthKit as well as workout data stored in HealthKit while using third party workout apps, Apple workout apps or the heart/work iOS App on the iPhone or the Apple Watch. In addition to HealthKit data, the app uses environmental information such as your location and corresponding weather information. The datasets are stored on our servers. However, no personally identifiable information is ever used and all transmitted data points are anonymised and masked. By using heart/work iOS App you agree to provide location information to calculate contextual visualisations and to provide access to your information stored in HealthKit.
The heart/work iOS app collects the results of workout data stored in HealthKit on your iPhone or Apple Watch in addition to location and weather data. The data is used to create visual representations of the workout done within its environmental context. Additionally the data might be used to create visualisations and/or animations of several workout sessions completed over time to visualize progression over time. The data used is not limited solely to workouts done with the heart/work app but might also include other workouts completed and stored within HealthKit on your iPhone or Apple Watch. Additionally the data collected might be used to create a better understanding of wellbeing and its relation to heart rate data, resting heart rate and heart rate variability. This might include sharing the collected data with other 3rd parties for research purposes or in form of licensing the use of the data.
The visual representations created from collected data are made available for sharing via various channels (e.g. mail, sms, social media) and can be saved as low or hi res image assets (for some features fees may apply). If a visualisation is saved, it is digitally watermarked with a heat/work signature. The digital watermark signature of heart/work may not be removed for any type of usage without explicit and written consent from heart/work. Furthermore any editing of the visualisation is prohibited as the heart/work visualisation is copyrighted material owned by heart/work. You can share any visualisation for private purposes only and may not neglect the fact that it has been created with the heart/work iOS app. An option to acquire the right to edit, publish or distribute heart/work visualisation maybe introduced at an additional fee.
While using our service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your postal address, other information ("Personal Information"), in case you need individual support from us. The regular usage of the app requires no personal information from you. All data collected is anonymized before sending it to heart/work servers.
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Website ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. While u are using the app, we might collect data such as iOS version and other performance data that does not contain any personal information.
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from our web site and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use "cookies" to collect information only when you use our website. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. The heart/work iOS app is not using cookies.
